1. Introduction

This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to the shipping and delivery of products purchased through the Losode Marketplace Platform, operated by Losode Inc. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set forth in this policy

2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Options

Losode offers several shipping methods to accommodate varying needs. The available options will be displayed at checkout and may vary based on your location and the products ordered

2.1. Domestic Shipping (Within Nigeria)

We offer the following domestic shipping methods:

  • Standard Delivery: Includes door to door delivery and is available for all regions within Nigeria. Estimated delivery time: 24 hours – 7 business days
  • Express Delivery: Ideal for urgent deliveries and is available in select major cities. Estimated delivery time: 1–3 business days
  • Same-Day or Next-Day Delivery: Available only in Lagos and select cities and subject to product availability. Orders must be placed before 12:00 PM local time to qualify for same-day delivery

NB: Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. External factors such as weather conditions, public holidays, or unforeseen delays may affect delivery schedules

2.2. International Shipping

We offer international shipping to select countries. The following terms apply:

  • Estimated Delivery Time: 7–21 business days, depending on the destination country. Remote areas may experience longer delivery times
  • Shipping Partners: We partner with reputable international couriers to ensure safe and reliable delivery. Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched
  • Customs and Duties: International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be covered by Losode. We recommend contacting your local customs office for further details on applicable fees

Important: We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses or military bases outside Nigeria

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary based on the following factors:

  • Destination: Shipping rates differ for domestic and international deliveries
  • Weight and Dimensions: Heavier or larger items may incur higher shipping fees
  • Shipping Method: Express and same-day delivery services are subject to higher charges

Promotional Offers: From time to time, we may offer free or discounted shipping promotions. These will be clearly communicated on our Platform and during checkout

4. Order Processing and Dispatch

  • Order Confirmation: Upon placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details
  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. During high-demand periods (e.g., sales events or holidays), processing times may be extended.
  • Dispatch Notification: You will receive a notification via email or SMS with a tracking number or OTP once your order has been dispatched. You can track your order through the courier’s website or via your Losode account.

5. Tracking and Delivery Status

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking link. You can also track the delivery status by:

  • Visiting the "My Orders" section of your Losode account
  • Using the tracking number provided in your dispatch confirmation email

Important: It is your responsibility to ensure that the shipping address provided is accurate. Losode will not be liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address details

6. Delivery Delays and Issues

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, there may be occasional delays due to factors beyond our control, including:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Customs clearance processes for international orders
  • Public holidays or peak shopping periods
  • Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes)

If your order is significantly delayed, please contact our the Losode User Engagement Call Centre at hello@losode.com for assistance.

Lost or Missing Parcels:
  • If you have not received your order within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us promptly
  • We will work with the courier service to locate your parcel or issue a replacement or refund where applicable

7. Failed Deliveries and Redelivery

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to the following reasons:
  • The recipient is unavailable
  • The shipping address provided is incorrect or incomplete
  • The package is refused by the recipient
The courier may:
  • Leave a notification card with instructions for redelivery or collection
  • Attempt delivery on the next business day (for local deliveries)
  • Return the package to us or the designer if delivery attempts are unsuccessful
Redelivery Charges:

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or multiple failed delivery attempts, the customer may be required to pay additional shipping fees for redelivery

8. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Contact us immediately at hello@losode.com with your order number and clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect product
  • We will arrange for a replacement or provide a refund where applicable
Conditions:

Items must be reported as damaged or incorrect within 48 hours of delivery. The product must be unused and returned in its original packaging

9. Changes to the Shipping and Delivery Policy

Losode reserves the right to amend this Shipping and Delivery Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically to stay informed
